Account & Workspace Setup
Once you've signed up, a few minutes in Settings gets your workspace ready for real hiring: your personal profile, your company details, a connected mailbox and calendar, and your teammates. Open Settings from the sidebar and you'll see a list of tabs on the left. This guide walks through them in the order that makes sense for a new workspace.
The tabs you see depend on your role. Everyone gets Account Settings; tabs like Workspace Settings, Team Members, and Roles appear only if your role has permission. Owners see everything. See Settings Overview for the full map.
1. Your personal account
Open Settings → Account Settings. This is your profile only; nothing here affects teammates:
- Name: update the name shown across the app, then save.
- Change Password: enter your current password and a new one.
Then hop over to the Appearance tab to make the app feel like yours: pick a Theme (Light, Dark, or System) and choose an Accent color.
2. Your workspace profile
Open Settings → Workspace Settings for the company-wide details candidates will see:
- Company Name: your company's display name.
- Company Slug: used in your public company URL, so pick something clean (lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens).
- Company logo: click the image at the top to upload one.
- Public Company Page: once you have a slug, this card shows your live careers page address with Copy link and View live buttons.
Below that are candidate-facing switches (Show Pipeline in Candidate View, Show Assessment Score, Show Resumatic Summary (Public Reports), and Show Cheating Analysis (Public Reports)) which control how much candidates and public report viewers see. Hit Save Changes when you're done. To design the careers page itself, see Your Company Page.
3. Connect your email
Open Settings → Email Services and click Add Account. You can connect:
- Google: Gmail & Google Workspace, connected in a couple of clicks.
- SMTP: any other provider, using your server details (inbox sync included).
Once connected, use Test Email Accounts to confirm sending works. Full details in Email Integration & Inbox.
Automated candidate emails and inbound reply tracking only run once a mailbox is connected. This is the single most common reason a new pipeline seems "quiet", so connect email before you go live.
4. Connect your calendar
Interview scheduling pulls availability from your calendar. Go to the Calendar page in the sidebar and open its Connections tab, where you can connect Google Calendar plus a meeting provider (Google Meet or Zoom). The same Google account can cover both calendar sync and Meet. See Calendar & Scheduling.
5. Invite your teammates
Open Settings → Team Members and click Invite. Enter an email, pick a role (system roles like Admin and Recruiter, or a custom one), and send. Your teammate gets an email invitation, sets their name and password, and lands in your workspace. Roles control exactly what each person can see and do. See Team Members & Roles.
